My second year design task in formula student was to design and manufacture the dashboard assembly. This involved configuring button placements and driver ergonomics, as well as where the dashboard would mount to the car.

I was allowed to see the dashboard being manufactured on a 3 axis CNC router using the intended 3mm carbon fibre sheet.
